We’re a rapidly-growing shop, building an elite team of passionate technologists to develop and support a new class of web application. If you join us, you'll bring ideas to life as products and features. You'll be involved in the whole process from concept to release to ongoing operations. You'll collaborate with the entire team -- including the founder -- to streamline our current offerings as well as conceptualize new ones. As the only user experience developer in our organization, you'll be a key hire. As such, you will be expected to use your noggin every day to tackle difficult problems with speed, accuracy, and gusto.
Job Requirements
We are looking for an experienced UX developer who can distill moderately complex business needs into a simple and intuitive web interface. The ideal candidate will have experience working iteratively with developers and business guys to design, prototype, and implement a consumer facing web application that squarely addresses users' needs. Being a proactive problem solver who's well versed in HTML, CSS, Javascript (Prototype and Scriptaculous) and tools like Photoshop and Illustrator is essential.
As part of a total redesign of an existing web application, you should be able take charge and manage the user experience. Your mission will be to make the applications so easy and intuitive, that customer support becomes obsolete. We'll give you full latitude to apply your outstanding web design sense and user interaction expertise to our products. Be prepared to impress us with a sample of your best work.
