What you'll do

You’ll have ownership of features or entire applications and will take them from concept to production. Use your knowledge of Ruby to write elegant, intuitive and useful software. Show your insistence for quality by writing succinct tests. Ultimately, you’ll get the chance to define your role in the company and help lead us above and beyond to great things.

What we need

• Intermediate-Advanced Rails knowledge. You should have a few full stack production apps under your belt.
• Testing. Familiarity with testing principles, frameworks and the importance of test-backed code. Experience with shoulda, factory_girl, and continuous integration a plus.
• Version Control. subversion, git.
• Linux (Ubuntu/RHEL5). Should be comfortable at the command line. Specific experience with deployment under Capistrano on an Apache/Passenger stack are a plus.
• Web Frontend. Design, layout and pragmatic use of html/css and javascript to generate unique and useful applications interfaces.
• MySQL. Good understanding of performance characteristics and optimization strategies for ActiveRecord.
• Community Involvement. Passion for the work and tools, including keeping up with current trends, best practices & industry buzz.
• Sharing. The ideal candidate is a good teacher, willing to share their thoughts, opinions and expertise.

Open Source contributors, those with Java experience, or a keen eye for design will be given extra consideration. If you have a design portfolio, we’d love to see it.

Experience in the online advertising industry, or better yet, in the online lead generation industry is a big plus.
